First Place Winner

Valerisse

Valerisse – a native of Detroit, MI now residing in NLR for past 25 yrs. This mother of 5 grew up singing in church where she sang around the united states with her family. Since coming to Arkansas she has been able to pursue her passion for music. Over the past 6 years, she has won numerous contests, such as the Over Forty Revue in 2012 & the karaoke world championship nationals in 2015. Just recently she was blessed to perform as a Gigi’s Idol finalist with a live band.

Second Place Winner

Randa Matkin

Randa Matkin, from Conway, has performed for nonprofit events for the past 6 years as a husband & wife team. They also lead praise & worship at church. She was a headliner at the Grand Ole Opry, cast in a Broadway musical, and had a 5 yr. contract in Nashville. She dedicates her performance this evening to her mom who has been diagnosed with lupus. She is accompanied by her husband Travis Matkin.

Third Place Winner

Zsilas Hughes

Zsilas Hughes from Little Rock will be performing a self-choreographed contemporary dance entitled “dream”. He has been dancing for 7 yrs. and continues his development at the Rock City Dance Center. He was featured in Ballet Arkansas’, “The Nutcracker” as Fritz in 2014. He is the Nuvo Dance Convention Breakout Artist (2017-2018). He was awarded 1st place for a contemporary piece from Youth America Grand Prix and the 2nd Arkansan to attend the Youth America Grand Prix Nationals in New York.
